Course Details

The five-day virtual course, which runs from 14:00 – 17:00 BST each day, will cover understanding travel risks, developing a travel-related risk assessment and traveller’s briefing as well as building an organisation’s travel directives and incident management plan.

The course addresses roles of key individuals including the occupational safety and health practitioner; identifying, assessing and managing health, security and safety risks; travellers’ briefings and participation in incident management.

The goal of the course is for the participant to develop a clear understanding of the role of the occupational safety and health practitioner in managing travel safety, health and security with a view to building a travel safety, health and security culture within the organisation including an overall understanding of the identification and management of associated risks, and travellers’ briefings and incident management.

After the completion of the course, there will be a post-course practical assignment. Once the assignment is completed, participants will be awarded their certificate. Training Terms and Conditions
